About this work
I captured the photo of this yellow bittern from Manikgonj. Yellow bittern is a common resident bird of Bangladesh. Yellow Bitterns inhabit marshes, reed beds, and wetlands. Breeding occurs during the monsoon or wet season. They primarily feed on fish, frogs, insects, and small crustaceans. I captured this photo as I found her patient hunting posture appeared to me unique and interesting.
