A trecut prin pierderea unui copil, prin ani de spitalizare, alături de fiul ei diagnosticat cu sindromul Down, iar în noaptea dintre ani, și-a văzut casa mistuită de flăcări. Acum, cea mai mare teamă a ei este legată de soțul său, diagnosticat cu cancer la creier. În timp ce tatăl copiilor luptă pentru viață, femeia încearcă să le păstreze copiilor liniștea și sentimentul că familia lor este bine.
