About

Taken from Seinfeld reruns off of CW affiliate WCWN (channel 45, cable 15) in Albany, New York. The station at the time went by on-air as "The Capital Region's CW," but is now known as "CW 15." I do not have a specific date identified here, but it has to be before the end of October 2007 as evidenced by the Toyota advert (which has a disclaimer saying offer ends 10/31/07).

The CW itself was 13 months old at the time and was a merger of two networks, The WB and UPN. Since The CW only broadcasted mostly during primetime, their affiliates would stock up on syndie programs, Seinfeld being a huge example. WCWN was owned by Freedom Communications as part of a duopoly with WRGB (CBS 6), which produces a 10pm news show for the former. Both are currently owned by Sinclair.
