"Little girl, why are you crying?"

Darkened Paths - Fall Of The City is about a naive young calico named Trash who's searching for her rank in The Broken City. Stumbling along the way, she meets a charismatic demon with a vendetta against her bloodline. Taking her advice and guidance, Trash flourishes as a leader to deal with the three sided war between Broken Remains, The Rebels, and The Outcasts. How long will it take for the city to come crashing down around her and those she holds dear?

Viva La Gloria covers the contents of the first part of the first book (FOTC), which you can read, for free, here. (A new chapter has been published in celebration of this maps completion!) - https://archiveofourown.org/works/105...

AT LONG LAST!!! It's here! What started as a two week challenge got stretched to two months, but the majority of participants got it in within the 2 weeks so i'm insanely satisfied with that! Its been... quite literally YEARS since i've hosted a DP map! This ones certainly the most successful out of all of them (with the coming of age for sure) but DAMN!! THIS IS THE FIRST ONE WHERE THERE WAS ACTUAL LITERAL SOLID DP CONTENT LOL...... im so pleased with the maps art direction and how everyone handled it/ the characters in their style! Rewatching this map easily over 50 times, ive gotten emotional with each editorial rewatch because this map means so much to me. Seeing how everyone came together to fill up the map SO QUICKLY (with a demand for backup parts!) to produce INCREDIBLE parts has me speechless and so grateful you guys don't even know..??!!?

Thank you to the participants, the fans, the readers, the supporters and a special thanks to Sstaticcat ( / @vividbeasts ) for cohosting this with me/ giving the song/ drafting ideas and for PeppermintPretzels for jumping on board with me to collab the second/last due part in UNDER TWO HOURS!!! That was a remarkable rush and im honored to have gotten to work with you both and everyone else in the map! Here's to many more years of Darkened Paths and the lovely following it has gained.

Thank you all from the bottom of my heart for endless years of loving my own creation. Darkened Paths means the world to me and im so happy im able to share it with everyone and I will CERTAINLY be making another DP map eventually. THANK YOU!! Thank you, thank you all so much for everything you do for me and this community we have created, it brings me to tears to think back upon it. Thank you. Thank you so much. Thank you for aiding in the creation in Viva La Gloria, a true love letter to everything that Darkened Paths is. I love you all, happy holidays! VIVA LA GLORIA!!
