Hybrid 1080p HD Upscale Test

About

This was a little test I decided to do for upscaling SD footage to HD with Hybrid. As an example, I used the Jon dance scene from Garfield Gets a Life, sourced from the Garfield As Himself DVD from 2004, as the footage for the special on that DVD is shockingly in pretty poor quality. So far, I think it looks pretty good. It seems to have removed the compression artifacts and smoothed out the lines pretty well while still retaining the picture detail. I'm planning on doing this with other DVD footage as well as future DVD rips on Slappy's Saturday Night Movies and possibly VHS rips too. I might also do some comparisons with future clips upscaled with Hybrid in the future too, so stay tuned for all that.
