About
Musique, Pierre Alrand
A cartoon on human avarice, in which a stranger enters a town deserted by its inhabitants because of a huge unexploded bomb lying in the market-place. From the safety of a nearby hill they watch as he takes over the town, fear keeping them away until he starts scattering their money. Then they cannot restrain themselves any longer, rush back and kick him out. Immediately the bomb explodes, leaving only the stranger and a large hole where the town had been.
