About
The Fabric of Life
A documentary inspired by a photographic exhibition held at the Museum of Modern Art in New York. Depicts the working day of a Polish peasant family -- their labor, meals, and recreation -- and the love and cooperation of three generations living together and working harmoniously in a traditionally structured division of labor. Grand Prize, Venice Film Festival.
