The Christmas That Almost Wasn't (1983) Starring Chuck E Cheese

This is a legendary bad Christmas special produced by Kadabrascope around 1983. It was intended to be played exclusively at Chuck E Cheese Pizza Time Theatres for awhile, followed by airing on NBC.

However, the 1983 videogame crash broke Kadabrascope, as Warner Bros was the parent company of both Kadabrasope and Atari at the time and was losing money. By this point, the cartoon was only barely started, and feels more like a slideshow. It was obviously not good enough for either of the earlier plans. However, it was officially released on VHS in this state, only via the Chuck E Cheese Pizza Time Theatre ticket stand.

I built this video from splicing together three clips that were originally put up by the Showbiz Pizza fansite. Each clip begins with a screen showing the fansite's URL. Unfortunately, the audio for each part starts before this panel has completely vanished. As such, I could not remove the panels from part two and three, which would have made the whole thing flow better.
