Psychout For Murder (1969)

About

For best quality, please download the MKV file rather than streaming the embedded video.

This English language version of Salvare la faccia (1969) was released under the title Psychout for Murder. This alternate cut seems to have not received any kind of home video release outside of a very bad looking VHS (and now, very bad looking VHS rip sold on DVD-Rs on ebay)

This edition is a custom edit that I put together. Most of the video in this edition was taken from the Cinekult DVD release of Salvare la faccia, with scenes and shots exclusive to the "Psychout" cut added in from the VHS image. Color has also been restored in those scenes lifted from the VHS, as its print was very very green.

Audio is in English, also lifted from the VHS.

For now, and hopefully not for forever, this is the best available version of Psychout for Murder. It's because I found this movie to be such an enjoyable and fun surprise that I was so compelled to make this edition. I hope you enjoy.

(And I swear, the editing during the bath scene is just as choppy and weird on the old VHS as it is here.)

If you wish to see the Italian edit with its Italian language audio, I highly recommend checking the DVD release of Salvare la faccia from Cinekult.

Tips or donations are not expected but greatly appreciated. https://ko-fi.com/nomindecis or paypal usernameundecided@gmail.com . Thank you and please enjoy the film regardless.
