About
Is he still coming around like an injured bird needing a nest?
Huge shout out to all of the participants for making this the speediest MAP I’ve ever completed!
In this MAP, Bumblestripe has noticed Dovewing becoming distant. He tries to reach out to her, but no matter what he says or tries, she does not reciprocate his feelings. Just what is distracting her becomes abundantly clear at the Gathering, when Bumblestripe notices that her eyes are solely locked on Tigerheart.
A few nights later, Bumblestripe wakes to find Dovewing no longer in their shared nest. He tracks her all the way to the ShadowClan border, where he witnesses her meeting Tigerheart in secret! Betrayed and confused, Bumblestripe races back to ThunderClan and curls up in his nest. Hours later, Dovewing returns. She is also confused by her feelings, and does not like cheating on Bumblestripe. When she sees him curled up in their nest, she realized that, even if she thinks he does not know of her secret evenings with Tigerheart, she is hurting him. She returns to her nest, but neither cat sleep that night.
