Driving Modern Roundabouts
Many communities are considering or have already constructed modern roundabouts, citing advantages such as reduced congestion and delay, improved safety, and reduced emissions. Using actual traffic footage to demonstrate what to do and what not to do, this video explains the rules-of-the-road at modern roundabouts, specifically: who has right-of-way and how to safely drive through a roundabout. The video also covers how to drive a roundabout when large trucks are present, and how to yield to pedestrians, bicyclists and emergency service vehicles.
