About
Animated demonstration showing how the Western Electric motion picture sound system works. In this lively cartoon, “Talkie” brings “Mutie” to “Dr. Western,” who gives him a voice. The team shows how sound motion pictures are made and reproduced.
Note: Carlyle Ellis, the early industrial and educational filmmaker, contributes the voice for Dr. Western.
