Philosophies of Education: Experimental Approach to Education (1961)
Describes village life on the coast of Ghana, the newest independent member of the Commonwealth of Nations. Shows the people in a village who have for centuries lived by and from the sea, explaining that the net is owned by the chief of the village and that he takes a half-share of the tiny catch. Visits a larger town where many new things are seen, including a fishiat which can go farther to sea and take larger catches.
