About

DVD Transfer 150 contains footage mainly from early 1996 and includes most of the AFC and NFC Divisional Playoff games played on January 6, 1996 (parts of it were taped over and then the tape ran out).

Starting with this (since the preseason began on Thursday); I'm attempting to have a mostly football-themed upload each week up to the Super Bowl).

CONTENTS

1. Baywatch ("To Everything There is a Season" {S6E7}; April 14, 1996 rerun)

2. Baywatch Nights ("Backup" {S1E14}; repeat based on WGNT crawl noting Nick Faldo had won the 1996 Masters Tournament)

3. 1995 AFC Divisional Playoff Game (Pittsburgh Steelers vs. Buffalo Bills; partial {picks up around the 9 minute mark of the 2nd quarter}. The Steelers went on to take a 20-0 lead and held off a late rally by the short-handed Bills {star defensive end Bruce Smith was sick and quarterback Jim Kelly would briefly leave the game in the 3rd quarter with an injury before returning later} to win 40-21. Calling the action are NBC's #2 crew of Marv Albert and Cris Collinsworth {this would be Collinsworth's last game in the booth until 2002; as by 1996 he would replace Joe Montana on NBC's pregame show} and includes part of a postgame interview with Emmitt Smith)

4. 1995 NFC Divisional Playoff Game (San Francisco 49ers vs. Green Bay Packers; Packers head coach Mike Holmgren {who had been the 49ers quarterbacks coach and later offensive coordinator before leaving to take the Packers job in 1992} would lead Green Bay to an upset victory as his Packers dethroned the defending Super Bowl champion 49ers 27-17 {interestingly the only time that a visiting team won an NFC divisional playoff game during the 1990s}. Calling the game are FOX's #2 crew of Dick Stockton and Matt Millen. Tape runs out and is partly taped over)

5. Nightstand with Dick Dietrich (partial; a syndicated spoof of tabloid talk shows hosted by Dick Dietrich {played by Timothy Stack})

6. Inside Edition (featured story involves the popularity via the Internet of "Lois and Clark" co-star Teri Hatcher. Not sure who the female host is, but the co-host is longtime NBC sportscaster Don Criqui {Criqui being a weekend co-anchor from 1995-2002; roughly as his star with NBC and later CBS continued to fade})

Human-made No record of this work says a model made it. What this means.
