About
Here's my recording of 'Disney Learning Adventures: Mickey's Reading & Math Fun' (2005).
This is a very late VHS release from Disney. I'm amazed this got released on VHS at all.
This tape plays the cartoon 'Mickey and the Beanstalk' (Ludwig von Drake version) and interrupts the cartoon every so often to try to teach things to young children like counting, math, showing which footprints go with which character, and piecing together the order of the story. Then it plays the entire cartoon again uninterrupted.
Unfortunately, to be brutally honest with you, I don't like this video very much. Why? The learning segments are presented in such a boring way that it makes it very tedious to sit through. I don't see how young children could enjoy this. There is merit in making learning fun, and a few of the other uploads on my channel prove just that like with the old Sesame Street tapes or the Richard Scarry's Best Video Ever series of tapes, but this was not fun at all.
Human-made No record of this work says a model made it. What this means.
