About

Explains that colors differ in three ways: hue, value, and intensity. Discusses hues, pointing out that they are the names given to parts of the spectrum, that between the basic hues there are many in-between hues, that the value of any hue can be lightened or darkened by adding white or black, and that the intensity of any hue can be lowered, or dulled, by adding its complementary hue. Demonstrates the techniques of color mixing and explores the great variety of color which can be seen in the world around us
