About

Director, Frank Bach; creator of animation, Don Fenton; photographer, Harley Jones; editor, Nancy Ross

In a series of animated cartoons describes outmoded teaching methods and portrays actual classroom scenes where creativeness is taking place. The teacher provides a portable cage containing a mother hen and baby chicks. After handling the chickens and talking about them, the children work out their ideas and choose their own media from a variety of art materials. In the final scene each child displays his art product and the children discuss the creative efforts of the class
