About

So SO excited to present Antenne!

This MAProject, using the music of LGBTQ+ Palestinian artist Bashar Murad, is meant to help bring awareness about the current events that are happening in Palestine. For decades, Palestinians have been the target of Israeli violence for simply existing. Now, what is happening is undeniably an attempt to wipe Palestinians off the face of the Earth. We see it in the way Palestinians are treated online, and the constant horror stories that come to light: martyrs who even in the face of death, turned to Allah (Arabic for God; same god as in Christianity and Judaism) in prayer. There is a deeply unsettling sentiment that supporting Palestine = antisemitism, which could not be further from the truth. A good source for information: https://decolonizepalestine.com/ Do your Daily Click: https://arab.org/click-to-help/palest... Do not come into the comments to disagree with me on this. I will not agree with you lol.

Participants were given a week to finish their parts.

Please give a shoutout to the amazing Green Tea for volunteering to draw the thumbnail! It turned out absolutely amazing, check 'em out here: / @hotsaladwater

Finally, onto the parts!

Song: Antenne by Bashar Murad (Ft. Tamer Nafar; whose part was cut out of this map just due to the naming of specific US presidential candidates. Wasn't too appropriate for someone to animate over!) --------------------------- Like my work? Want a commission? Consider supporting me through Ko-fi! https://ko-fi.com/fawnlingstars
