AIR COMBAT II

Through riveting, action-packed battle footage and compelling narration, Air Combat II explores the astonishing events that depict America’s first century in the skies.

Combining archival and original footage, history comes alive through the feats of those whose exploits in the air changed the way wars are fought, from WWI to Desert Storm. This 13-part series is hosted by Monte Markham.

COMBAT CREW: THE RAIN ON RUMANIA

Some of the most dramatic sagas of World War II center on the heroics of bomber crews, who were often asked to fly missions hardly better than suicide runs. One such mission was Operation Tidal Wave. Its objective was to destroy the Axis oil fields in Ploesti, Rumania. With actual footage from the raid, COMBAT CREW recreates the compelling and poignant stories of three bomber crews that participated in that historic mission.
