About

LAKE KINNIES RISE UP

We did it. We finally did it. After 8 and a half months, this highly ambitious map is finally done. Infinity Train means the world to me and to have all these talented individuals participating in this project, I couldn’t be more thankful and proud.

A Girl Called Lake is based on the animated anthology series Infinity Train, specifically Book 2 “Cracked Reflection.” The map follows MT, a former reflection of Book 1’s protagonist, Tulip Olsen, as they travel through the titular train. On their journey to find their identity, they are accompanied by a kind-hearted passenger named Jesse Cosay, and a deer with superpowers, who the two mutually decided to name Alan Dracula. Throughout MT’s journey, they are constantly being harassed by the Mirror Police who want them dead, mocked for their status as a train denizen, and seen only as a reflection of their prime Tulip. However, this doesn’t stop, or even faze MT, who is willing to take drastic action to be seen not as a reflection of someone else, but as their own person.

Here’s the script if anyone is interested in reading it.

That being said, PLEASE go watch Infinity Train on HBO Max. It is without a doubt one of the most important animated series out now and it DEFINITELY deserves your time.
