About
This two-VHS set from John Hagee Ministries contains two consecutive episodes of the Cornerstone telecast, hosted by Pastor John Hagee of Cornerstone Church in San Antonio. Both tapes center on the same panel discussion with Dr. Robert McGee, author of The Search for Significance and founder of the Rapha counseling organization, and Caryl Matrisciana, author of Gods of the New Age. The subject is the Harry Potter series, which Hagee and his guests argue deliberately packages Wicca and occult philosophy for children. Tape 1 opens with ads for the Invasion of Demons sermon series and the novel Devil's Island.
Tape 2 continues the discussion from the prior day and covers Wicca tools as represented in the books, the mechanics of spells, the internet's role in recruiting young people to witchcraft, and the responsibilities of Christian parents and pastors. Both tapes end with ministry contact information and fundraising appeals for John Hagee Ministries in San Antonio, Texas.
