About
Dr. Michael O'Leary of OHP Training introduces golf professional Milt Wallace, who developed the Triple Coil Power Swing after twelve years of research, initially inspired by observing a one-legged man play to a two-to-four handicap. The tape presents an alternative swing theory centered on three coils derived from the large muscle groups of the back, chest, and hips, with the hands and arms remaining passive and tension-free throughout.
The key principles are: setup with 70% of weight on the right side, turning from the lat, sternum, and hands while keeping the arms effortless, allowing the club to cock and uncock through the suppleness of the hands rather than muscular effort, and transferring to a full finish. Wallace and O'Leary demonstrate in extended segments, addressing setup, grip neutrality, backswing coil, transition, and follow-through. A section near the end covers drills including practicing with a wall or fence to train a straight upward hand path. The tape runs approximately 52 minutes.
