1998 VHS • MTS3K Tom Servo's All Time Favorite Host Segments! 60 FPS

About

Tom Servo's All-Time Favorite Host Segments is a fan-compiled VHS tape collecting comedy sketches from various episodes of Mystery Science Theater 3000, hosted in framing segments by the character Tom Servo. The tape's introduction presents Servo narrating the curation process with characteristic self-importance before launching into the segments themselves. Sketches range from Servo's romantic encounter with a blender, the invention exchange featuring a remote-controlled circular saw, the United Servo Academy Men's Chorus medley, a song to Servo's pet turtle Tibby, and an extended original musical called Supercalifragilistic Expialocky lampooning government gridlock. The Torgo job interview sequence, the Christmas catalog segment, and the Godzilla Genealogy Bop round out the collection.

Additional segments include Mike Nelson playing a pompous film director with Cambot, the Pants Up Song performed with Frank, a public safety parody featuring Tom as Trooper Tom Servo, a hypno-heliostatic stasis sketch, and a closing bit on the joys and horrors of 1970s Christmas office parties. The tape closes with Servo's farewell and a final holiday sketch. The total runtime is approximately 74 minutes.
