About
Knockout Workout is a home kickboxing fitness program hosted by Stephanie Steele, founder of Steel Town gym in Venice, California. The program opens with an original theme song before Steele introduces the workout's three difficulty levels, color-coded for beginners, intermediates, and advanced exercisers, and explains the six core strikes and kicks: the jab, cross, hook, uppercut, roundhouse, and front kick. Safety tips cover footwear, hydration, and the optional use of gloves.
The workout proceeds through a warm-up with marching, hip movements, and punching combinations, followed by a rope or chair-assisted flexibility section targeting the hips, quadriceps, hamstrings, and calves. The main cardio section alternates fast kickboxing intervals with slower recovery periods. A cool-down and full upper-body stretching sequence closes the program, after which Steele recommends two to three sessions per week for continued improvement.
