This tape is an unedited off-air recording of HBO programming interstitials and promotional breaks spanning multiple recording sessions across 1991 and 1993. The content falls into two distinct clusters.

The earlier portion of the tape covers the late summer and fall of 1991. Godfather Night — both The Godfather and The Godfather Part II broadcast together on a single Saturday — airs Saturday August 31st on HBO. Flatliners with Julia Roberts, William Baldwin, and Kevin Bacon premieres Sunday September 1st. Presumed Innocent with Harrison Ford and Raul Julia premieres Sunday September 8th. An America Undercover exclusive on multiple personalities premieres Tuesday July 13th. Cast a Deadly Spell is announced as coming in September. Confrontation premieres Wednesday September 11th. HBO Inside Music, a new series launched with performances by James Brown and MC Hammer, begins Saturday September 21st. Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome with Mel Gibson and Tina Turner, and The War of the Roses with Michael Douglas, Kathleen Turner, and Danny DeVito, also air in this period. A true-story HBO original film set in Puerto Rico in 1978, starring Amy Irving, Andy Garcia, Lou Diamond Phillips, and Robert Duvall, airs during this stretch.

The later portion of the tape covers summer 1993. Boomerang starring Eddie Murphy, Robin Givens, Martin Lawrence, Halle Berry, and David Allen Greer premieres at 8 p.m., followed at 10 by part one of Laurel Avenue, an HBO miniseries event. Russell Simmons' Def Comedy Jam returns with a new host and new crew on Friday at midnight. David Bowie and Rosanna Arquette star in The Linguini Incident. The Godfather Part II airs as a standalone HBO presentation.
