About

Gold's Gym Home Trainer is an instructional video for the Gold's Gym Home Trainer, a resistance band-based home exercise machine. The program is divided into clearly marked segments designed to complement the owner's manual. Optional accessories mentioned include a Bench Press Bar and Recumbent Bike, both described as sold separately through an included accessory catalog. The main instructor is a woman leading the workout with two additional participants named Dave and Jenny demonstrating modifications.

The program opens with setup and folding/unfolding procedures, explains the color-coded resistance band system (black for least resistance, gray for moderate, red for most), and covers handle and leg strap attachment. Program Card 1, described as one of the most popular and versatile routines, is then demonstrated through all 12 exercises in sequence: leg squats, seated rows, calf raises, back extensions, upright rows, leg curls (left and right), bicep curls, abdominals, bench press, lat pull downs, shoulder press, and tricep press. Following the complete workout, a cool-down and stretching sequence is demonstrated using exercises from the manual. A second segment presents an extended library of additional exercises organized by muscle group: legs, chest, back, shoulders, arms, abs, and sport-specific movements including golf stroke, tennis backhand, baseball swing, freestyle swimming, butterfly stroke, breast stroke, backstroke, rotation punch, skier, and cycling.

Machine storage and folding procedures are demonstrated at the end, and an encouragement segment closes the program. A safety disclaimer and manual reminder are repeated at the closing.
