About
An instructional and promotional video for the sport of cup stacking using Speed Stacks brand equipment, produced by Speed Stacks Incorporated. The program opens with an overview of cup stacking as a competitive individual and team sport, emphasizing its benefits for bilateral proficiency, ambidexterity, hand-eye coordination, and right-brain development. Ideal settings identified include physical education classes, sports camps, daycare programs, church groups, and recreation centers.
The instructional section teaches the three primary competition stacks in sequence. The three stack is demonstrated with both right-lead and left-lead variations and the two-two-two method for picking up cups. The 3-3-3 is introduced as the first competition stack, followed by the 6 stack and the 3-6-3. The 10 stack and the 1-10-1 build on those foundations. The cycle stack, described as the premier and most challenging stack, combines the 3-6-3, 6-6, and 1-10-1 in sequence with tips for smooth transitions.
The program closes with encouragement to incorporate the 6-6, 1-10-1, and cycle stacks into regular Speed Stacks training. Contact information is provided: toll-free 1-877-GOT-CUPS and www.speedstacks.com.
