About
A country line dancing instructional video hosted by John Hines and taught by Diane Horner, filmed at Cowboy, described as the heartland's hottest country dance club, in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The program is part of the Diane Horner country dance video series, also distributed under country fitness titles. Horner notes that almost any country line dance can be performed to almost any country song, and dances are taught in order of increasing difficulty.
Six dances are covered. The electric slide opens the program, teaching the vine, grapevine, and rock step before combining them into the full dance. The slap leather follows, introducing the heel step, stomp, and star patterns. The tush push covers swivel, hip bump, and pivot combinations. The achy breaky line dance uses vine, stomp, bump, star, and scuff variations practiced in four sections. The Cotton Eye Joe is presented as a shorter section at full speed. The sixteen step closes the tape as a circle dance done in singles and doubles.
Each dance is broken into individual step patterns before a full run-through. The program is produced in association with the Diane Horner country dance and fitness video lines, available at music and video retailers.
