About

Balance Ball for Beginners is a fitness instruction video hosted by Suzanne Deason and produced by Gaia under the Mind Body Health and Natural Home labels, running approximately 48 minutes. The program is designed for first-time balance ball users and combines yoga and Pilates-style movements performed on an inflatable exercise ball.

Deason divides the workout into three sections. The first begins with centering on the ball and moves through spinal mobility work from the base of the spine through the neck, with swimming-motion arm movements targeting the chest and back. The second section covers full-body toning and sculpting exercises. The third section uses the ball to support passive stretching and relaxation.

Individual exercises include abdominal work with hands behind the head draped over the ball, ball rolls forward into extended torso stretch, dog pose with the ball under the belly, and wide-leg forward fold. Breath is cued throughout. The program closes with a Gaia label promotional segment.
