About
The original Abs of Steel instructional video hosted by Tammy Lee Webb, running approximately 40 minutes. The program is divided into three ten-minute workout segments, each targeting the abdominal muscles from different angles. Webb recommends completing one segment per day or five minutes of each. A warm-up and stretch sequence is demonstrated at the opening of the first program and is intended to be repeated before each subsequent workout.
The three programs build in difficulty. Program one covers foundational breathing technique and basic torso curls with lumbar spine cued flat to the floor throughout. Program two introduces oblique work with diagonal reaches. Program three incorporates reverse curls, traditional full crunches, and isometric holds. Webb closes the final program by directing viewers to rewind and repeat from program one until all exercises can be completed without difficulty, at which point she recommends transitioning to Abs of Steel Number Two.
