About
After World War II, the United States believed that Nazi Germany had been far behind the U.S. in development of an atomic bomb. But Soviet scientists were in fact requesting the help of German atomic scientists with their nuclear program. This program offers a behind-the-scenes look at how these scientists turned the Soviet Union into a nuclear superpower in a short time.
