About

FRONTLINE examines the new nuclear threat that has arisen in the post-Cold War era. While the fear of nuclear annihilation has faded, hundreds of tons of nuclear material have disappeared inside the former Soviet Union to create a new menace. The program explores the perilous state of nuclear security in an area already rife with political upheaval and uncertainty.
