Clips are not offered for this film: an uploader's Creative Commons licence on a work its record does not date to when such licences existed.

Not offered: its uploader states a Creative Commons licence, but that it is the rights holder's is not shown: its record does not date the work from 2002, when the licences were first published, or the work is another's (an older work under a later date, or a video set to another's song), and nothing else the site holds shows where it is free. About

Here is a re-transfer of a classic Saturday morning tape using my new setup.

Aired over NBC affiliate KPRC-TV 2 out of Houston, TX, there is a one-and-a-half hour block of Smurfs followed by an episode of the ALF animated series (with bumpers including the main cast of the short-lived NBC sitcom "My Two Dads"). Quite the treat there.

However, there is some stuff that I've never posted publicly before, and that is some episodes of three various Scooby-Doo shows aired over former independent station KTXH-TV 20, also out of Houston, TX. Two of the programs have commercials, one other one doesn't.

However, there is... quite the incongruity in these encodes. After the first video (KPRC from 9/3), you will notice that most of the other encodes (all from KTXH) are almost completely unwatchable due to the contrast throughout these recordings going from one extreme to another. Sometimes the picture is unwatchably bright, other times it's unwatchably dark. This is from the recording/dub itself. Whoever originally dubbed this tape, their VCR was most likely REALLY bad, to the point that after three generations, the picture is beyond unwatchable. If I had the source tape (which I think has long since been thrown away), the picture would look 200,000 times better. Either way, I tried my best to make it somewhat watchable, but I think the picture is too far gone even for a professional.

My setup is on the about section at the top of my page if you want more details on how I captured this.

Enjoy and stay safe!
