About
Sponsored film showing home prevention strategies against cockroach infestation. Promotes the use of Velsicol Corporation's Chlordane both at home and in larger pest-control projects. In one sequence workers pump the insecticide directly into sewers. Dramatic music accompanies a time-lapse sequence of roaches emerging from eggs. The film was a companion to GOODBYE, MRS. ANT. Originally produced in Kodachrome, but this print is in black and white.
"Shows how roaches enter homes, how nymphs emerge from an egg capsule, where roaches hide in the house, how insecticide for control is applied in the house (sprayed, painted, puffed), and how the community can control roaches" Educational Film Guide, 1954-1958
