About
Found a VHS rip of an another rare intro, used for the VHS releases of the French dub of the "Dragon Ball" movies, released in 1988. Just like the series intro used in France, this is an alternate intro, compared to either the original versions which utilized the Japanese theme, or dubs that has alternate themes, such as the Italian dub (Mediaset) or the Portugal dub (NOVAGA Studios). Surprisingly, it has an another DB-related song called "Vive Sangoku et Vive Dragon Ball Z", performed by Ariane Carletti, even though the song name probably was chosen, during the time when production on the French dub of Z, aside from the fact that the chapters of "Dragon Ball Z" on the manga is still being called "Dragon Ball". Interestingly, it was only used for the French VHS releases of OG DB Movies 1 and 3 (in other words, The censored French dubs of "The Legend of Shenron" and "Mystical Adventure"), but Movie 2 didn't used it, perhaps of unknown reasons.
