About

In the 1960s, thalidomide was a highly touted wonder drug prescribed as a sedative for pregnant women. This program tells the story of the devastating side effects of thalidomide by profiling the lives of three courageous Canadian men, former thalidomide babies, who have overcome tremendous physical limitations, emotional trauma and social repression.
