[MUZU-VIDEO] (VHS) Man's Biggest Idiot！Koshien

About

After failing to get into a prestigious school ideal for the Koshien Tournament, Koshien Fujimura enrolls into a low-grade high school to aim big for the Koshien Tournament Championship. Fujimura is a strong-armed pitcher who only throws straight and uses his characteristic super fastball as a weapon to aim for the Koshien tournament championship.

Man's Biggest Idiot! Koshien (男どアホウ！甲子園) is the 10th adaptation, that NTV (also known as Nippon Television Video) adapted into an anime, and aired from September 28th, 1970 to March 27th, 1971 on a 15 minute time slot. Despite the manga's popularity, the anime didn't hit well, with most viewers who watched it in real-time due to lack of animation. But despite it's unpopularity, it has gotten two tape releases, a few EPs and Flexi Disc releases as well as drama audio episodes and has aired various times until the 90s. Despite the recent re-releases and many other material of this work, the anime has not seen an appropriate digital release or reair of the work, as this was a result of NTV going defunct in 1973, which sold off most of it's material to various other individuals or companies. Until the rest of the anime is shown by the respected individuals, the episodes 5-26 remain missing from the digital eye.

As I was capturing this anime to digital, I had noticed that the original capture for both tapes was slightly greened, so I adjusted the hue and contrast to brighten the white. I would've uploaded Vol.1 and 2 at the same time, however my vol.2 tape is most likely beyond repair, but as a last resort, I might buy cleaning material to clean the tape. It seems that vol.2 had a history of mold but it was played prior to it being shipped to me so I didn't see the spores inside before it was sent to me, so I'll clean before attempting another rip.
