About
This WWII drama tells the story of a racist officer (played by Stephen Boyd) put in charge of a squad of black troops charged with seizing a dam topped with a critical roadway before the Germans can destroy it.
Originally produced as for television with the title Carter's Army, it first aired on the ABC television network's ABC Movie of the Week on January 27, 1970. The film was retitled Black Brigade for later and home video release.
UPLOADER COMMENT: This well done TV Movie, starring Richard Pryor, Rosie Greer, Billy Dee Williams, and Stephen Boyd, depicts racist attitudes toward black soldiers in World War Two. Richard Pryor gives a fine performance as does the rest of the cast.
