About

A VHS tape of television recordings from the KCET network, the PBS affiliate of Los Angeles. And channel 56 KODC of Los Angeles. The tape is decades old, and has degraded in quality. The file is called Barbara Street because that is what was written on the tape. It features an assortment of local commercials and bumpers.

The majority of the tape is the 1997 Ken Burns documentary Lewis & Clark: The Mission of the Corps of Discovery. This tape is therefore at least from 1997. It also features Los Angeles mayor Richard Riordan, who left office in 2001. So this tape is at most from 2001.

The tape contains the documentary Gangster Nation? about organized crime, guerrilla, and drug corruption in Colombia by Lisa Ling and Mitchell Koss, and branded by Channel 1 News. I can not seem to find any other mention of this film online. This may have been lost to obscurity.

It also features the episode of The Wild Wild West: The Night of the Surreal McCoy.

Here are all of the segments recorded on the tape. The chapters are in the Matroska file.
