About
COOPERATION AMONG BERRY GROWERS OF THE PACIFIC NORTHWEST Produced: 1918
Description Shows how farmer-owned berry associations assist growers in marketing their crops. Reel 1, raspberries and blackberries are picked, crated, and hauled in spring wagons to an association warehouse. The berries are sorted for delivery: sound berries go to distant markets, ripe berries to nearby markets, and over-ripe berries to an association cannery. Reel 2, berries are unloaded at a cannery, graded, canned, cooked, labeled, and crated.
