About
WHEELS OF PROGRESS Produced: 1927
Description Shows how the interdevelopment of the automobile and the public road system (1897-1927) caused the growth of suburban areas. The personal transportation, thus made available to the workers, enables them to move from crowded city tenements into more comfortable suburban homes. Includes shots of automobiles and road and traffic conditions during the period.
