About
RICE--FROM PADDY TO BOWL Produced: 1924
Description Shows proper methods of growing, harvesting, and packing rice to insure a prime quality table product. Louisiana rice fields are watered and weeded. Rice is cut by a binder, shocked, threshed, and sacked. Emphasizes the value of crop rotation and of occasional use of rice fields as pastures to eliminate the pestiferous red rice plant.
