Description Shows the damage to crops caused by grasshoppers and prescribes methods of eliminating the pest. Reel 1 shows the life cycle of the grasshopper and samples of the pest's handiwork on alfalfa and wheat fields. Reel 2, fields are plowed under in the fall to eliminate breeding places and poisoned bran is spread on the fields in early Spring.
