About
TREES OF TOMORROW Produced: 1924
Description Dramatizes the necessity for reforestation of the pine forests of Connecticut. Reel 1 shows flashbacks of Connecticut's virgin timber and views of cleared land, virtually useless for agriculture. Railroad ties and other lumber products are processed in a mill. Reel 2, a forest fire devastates a large timber tract. Scrub land is plowed and cultivated and tree seeds are planted. Young trees are watered.
