About
Activities surrounding the 1960 strawberry harvest at the Japanese American Koura family farm in Washington, including workers picking berries and what appears to be an end-of-harvest celebration with workers playing tug of war and other games. The last section shows the family visiting the mountains and roasting marshmallows over a fire.
Includes images of Indigenous people from Canada and Washington state who came each year as seasonal workers for the berry harvest, as well as possibly workers of Filipino heritage and other ethnicities.
