About

Content advisory: Sign posted on street in a mountain town includes hate language.

A San Francisco family that knows how to camp in style makes several trips in this reel to regional destinations, while also documenting some San Francisco civic parades featuring classic Depression-era float motifs. Maintaining a comfortable campsite in the Sierra Nevada mountains, the family roams to Vancouver, British Columbia, to Oregon, and with a long stop at a site in Northern California showing the aftermath of devastating wildfires that affected the Mount Shasta area in 1931.
