About
Close-cut sequences visiting sites in south Asia and southeast Asia in the 1930s, with scenes in Chesterfield, Virginia included between historically significant photography of places such as the Golden Temple and Taj Majal in India, Borobudur Temple in Java, the largest Buddhist temple in the world, and street scenes in the Philippines, India, and Java, as well as additional locations not yet identified. Filmed on Kodacolor lenticular film, an extinct color process that contemporary technology reproduces as vertical striations in a black and white image.
