About

An AFS (American Field Service) cross-cultural party in a suburban setting at the outdoor event facility of a small institution, on a cool day in spring or fall. With Black professional event staff briefly seen, otherwise the group shown are Europeans from Norway and their American hosts. They hoist a flag, wear dressy casual fashions, try to keep warm, enjoy the cuisine, and make small talk.
