About

Army-Navy Screen Magazine, Issue no. 69, "a pictorial report from all fronts for the armed forces only"

An array of future housing alternatives for the post-World War II period are depicted in staged and unstaged scenes, most featuring residents, including small homes, high rise apartment buildings, urban and suburban environments, prefabricated houses and adapted Quonset huts. Begins with footage of Norman Bel Geddes's "Highways and Horizons" Futurama model of future highways and cities, originally presented at the 1939-40 New York World's Fair in the General Motors Pavilion. Silent footage produced to be paired with soundtrack.
