About

"Documentary footage shot in New Haven, Connecticut during the days surrounding the May Day trial of members of the Black Panther Party accused of murder and kidnapping. This reel includes a lengthy skit of young African American men enacting their impressions of their treatment by the police. It appears as a scrimmage between two groups of young men some wearing hand-drawn armbands and hat-bands which read "POLICE". Lengthy interview with African American children in a residential neighborhood in New Haven (no audio).
